Dr. Rodgers received his educational knowledge of Pastoral Care and Bible Studies degree from Christian College of America (1988). He obtained both his Master's Degree of Divinity (1990) and Doctor of Ministry (1995) from Houston Graduate School of Theology. Since becoming the Senior Pastor, he has implemented various classes, community outreach programs and departments: Bible study class, new membership orientation class, communion to sick & shut in, and a youth choir. As time moved the Church into the new millennium, the world and the Church body faced an unprecedented pandemic. In 2020, Nazarene's senior leaders quickly realized the approach to ministry had to evolve. A webpage, nazmbc.org, was launched. The website streamlined communication efforts to the congregation: visitors, volunteers, and members. In addition, each person who visited the website now had better insight to the activities, functions, auxiliaries, and purpose of Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church. Under Rev.

Under Rev. Rodgers' leadership, Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church continues to adapt and thrive in a changing.

Under the leadership of Dr. Rodgers, Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church continues to strive to reach the community, remain hopeful for the future and focus on God's faithfulness.
